Shop and Booking Policies

Thank you for your interest here at The Orange Limner for your next tattoo.  I do my best to provide you with an amazing experience each time you step inside the shop.  My booking process might not be ideal for you, but for myself it is the best form of contact to insure that my time is evenly distributed.  I am a solo practitioner that handles my own appointments, so bear with me during this process.  I also prefer weekday morning appointments  (which conflicts with most 9-5 schedules) however that is the quickest way for you to book with me.  

All bookings will be handled through email communication.  I repeat…ALL BOOKINGS WILL BE DONE THROUGH EMAIL

18 and over policy

You must be of 18 years or older to get tattooed at The Orange Limner.  NO exceptions.  In the State of California it is law that the  client are of at least 18 years regardless of parental consent.

Deposit policy

At The Orange Limner there will be a non-refundable deposit on all bookings.  If your tattoo requires multiple sessions there will be deposits for each session booked.  Deposit amount will be on a case by case basis.  Normally not more than 25% of the total cost of the tattoo or session.  Deposits are transferable upon rescheduling for one time only.  I do not schedule more than 45 days in advance.  This gives all my clients fair opportunity to get work done by me.  

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy

All appointments that need rescheduling require at least 48 hours in advance (2 days) in order for your deposit to be transferable.  Cancellations made by the client (you) without rescheduling will forfeit the deposit (No exceptions).  In the event that I have to reschedule due to my circumstances, then you will be compensated by a reduced price in your tattoo and you will not lose the ability to transfer your deposit.  It is understandable if you are 5-10 min late, but clients who are more than 30 minutes late may lose their appointment and their deposit may be forfeited.  No-call, No-shows will be an automatic forfeit of your deposit.    Rule of it all.  BE ON TIME

 

Design Policy

Deposits may be required for sketches (especially large custom sleeves, chest pieces, etc).  These sketch deposits will go towards the overall cost of your tattoo.  The sketch design will not be fully rendered in terms of how it will be tattooed.  With nearly every tattoo we can adjust any minor tweaks and changes during the day of your appointment.  These changes allow the overall design to fit ideally on your body.  However during the day of the appointment if the design is changed in terms of style, size, etc that is beyond reason, then an additional session may be required (that will be accompanied by an additional deposit).  During the day of your appointment if the design is also changed in a way that results in rescheduling then your deposit will be forfeited.   Any necessary questions, concerns, major changes should be addressed during the sketch process in our email chats prior to when you book.

Preparation Policy

Prior to your appointment make sure that you have had plenty of rest the night before.  Eat a decent meal before your appointment.  Do not show up to your appointment intoxicated or in a state where you are unable to get tattooed.  If you need a sitter that day of your appointment, then do your due diligence to have it secured.  Make sure that you have your affairs in order days before your appointment, so that way you are prepared, ready, and on time.
